Alla ventinovesima edizione degli Art Directors Guild Awards hanno trionfato Wicked, Nosferatu e Conclave nel lato cinema, mentre per quanto concerne il piccolo schermo a spartirsi i premi sono stati Shogun, The Penguin, Fallout, Squid Game ed il sempreverde Saturday Night Live.
Ancora è presto per dirlo ma sembra che le recenti polemiche che hanno investito Emilia Pérez e The Brutalist si siano fatte sentire. Entrambi i film non si sono aggiudicati nessun premio e sono stati scalzati da Nosferatu e Conclave. Dei risultati che certo non sono una proiezione affidabile al 100% di come potranno andare i prossimi premi, vero è che però veder trionfare pellicole come Nosferatu, snobbato alle nomination dei premi Oscar, è stata una scelta degna di nota.
Il premio al miglior film d’animazione è stato assegnato ad Il robot selvaggio, ormai il favorito nella sua categoria in tutte le cerimonie che si terranno da qui a marzo.
